Happy Campers
Smiles, stories & Kokoda adventures.
One year turned into forever
Vicki and Glenn Bryant (Happy Campers Australia) are from Lake Macquarie NSW, they have two young adult sons. In 2018 they decided to resign from their jobs. Glenn was 55 and Vicki was just 49.
They wanted to escape the pressures of work. Their intention was to take a gap year. They soon found out that a year was not long enough and they are still on the road all these years later, hoping to inspire others to do the same.

"We’ve owned three Kokoda caravans over the years, and each one has made our adventures easier, more comfortable, and more memorable. From the toughest outback tracks to quick coastal escapes, our Kokoda vans are tough, reliable, and designed for life on the road. They’ve given us the freedom to leave work behind and truly enjoy every moment together. We couldn’t imagine exploring Australia in anything else."

Happy Campers
outback escapes, stress left behind.
They have been exploring Australia’s outback and coastal escapes, travelling as tourists and staying no longer than a week in each spot. With minimal work, a flexible approach to finances, and a love for the open road, they’ve found a life that prioritises freedom, wellbeing, and adventure. Through their journey, they hope to inspire others to take the leap and live life on their own terms.

Kokoda Caravans Owners Group
Vicki & Glenn also manage the popular Facebook Kokoda Caravans Owners Page —a friendly community built by Kokodians, for Kokodians.
Whether you’re researching your first van or already part of the family, it’s the perfect place to share travel experiences, swap advice, and ask questions.
The group brings people together both online and on the road, from casual catch-ups to The Nationals—a week filled with food, games, activities, plenty of laughs, and friendships that last a lifetime. There’s even a charity fundraiser to give back along the way.
Because when you buy a Kokoda, you’re not just getting a van—you’re joining a community. You’re becoming a Kokodian.
